Art. 1. Organization<\/strong> \u2013 In charge of the company Elitechip SL, the Club Menorca Atletisme, the Delegation in Menorca of the FAIB, the Sports Department of the Consell Insular de Menorca, the City Council of Ciutadella de Menorca, organize the XV 10 km Illa de Menorca and the XXVI Mitja Marat\u00f3 \u201cIlla de Menorca\u201d, to be held on November 2, 2025.<\/p>\n

Art. 2.- Distance<\/strong> \u2013 The distances in meters will be those corresponding to the 10 km and half marathon (21,097 meters).<\/p>\n

Art.3.- Route<\/strong> \u2013 The route will take place on an urban circuit along the promenade of the port of Ciutadella and the old town; the start and finish line will be located in Pla\u00e7a del Borne de Ciutadella. This will consist of a circuit of about 10,000 meters and you will have to make 1 lap to complete the distance of 10,000 m and 2 laps to complete the distance of 21,097 meters. The provisioning area will be located in the Meta area. In this edition the circuit will be completely closed to traffic and marked with cones and tape.<\/p>\n

Art.4.- Categories. <\/strong> \u2013 The categories of the XXVI Mitja Marat\u00f3 Illa de Menorca are the following:<\/p>\n

-SUB-20 (Any de naixement 2007-2008)
\n-SUB-23 (Any de naixement 2004-2005-2006)
\n-S\u00e8nior (Fins 34 anys)
\n-Veterans 35 (De 35 a 39 anys)
\n-Veterans 40 (De 40 a 44 anys)
\n-Veterans 45 (De 45 a 49 anys)
\n-Veterans 50 (De 50 a 54 anys)
\n-Veterans 55 (De 55 a 59 anys)
\n-Veterans 60 (De 60 a 64 anys)
\n-Veterans 65 (+ de 65 anys) <\/p>\n

\u2013 The categories of the XV 10 Km Illa de Menorca are the following:<\/p>\n

-SUB-20 (Any de naixement 2007 \u2013 2008 – 2009 – 2010)
\n-SUB-23 (Any naixement 2004 – 2005 – 2006)
\n-S\u00e8nior (Fins 34 anys)
\n-Veterans 35 (De 35 a 44 anys)
\n-Veterans 45 (De 45 a 54 anys)
\n-Veterans 55 (+ 55 anys) <\/p>\n

A category will be considered formed when there is an enrollment of more than 3 athletes per category; When a category is made up of less than 3 athletes, it will become part of the lower age category, never higher age.<\/p>\n

Art. 5.- Minimum Age<\/strong> \u2013 The minimum age to participate will be 18 years old on the same day of the event, and no minor athlete will be allowed to participate. In the 10 km test, the minimum age will be 16 years.<\/p>\n

Art. 6.- Classifications<\/strong> \u2013 The following classifications will be established; an absolute general, another by categories, which will determine the winners of each category in order of arrival at the finish line.<\/p>\n

Art. 7.- Schedule<\/strong> \u2013 The start time of the races will be at 10:00 h and they will have a maximum time to complete the route of: 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete the 10 km and 2 hours 30 minutes for the half marathon<\/p>\n

Art. 8.- Delivery of bibs<\/strong> \u2013 Delivery of bibs will take place at the ATLEET \u2013 AB Esports store located in Ciutadella, on Saturday from 10am to 2pm. For non-residents, you can collect the number on the Sunday of the race from 08:00 hours in the enabled tent located in Pla\u00e7a del Born<\/p>\n

Art. 9.- Registrations<\/strong> \u2013 Registrations must be made before October 26, 2025, at 08:00 p.m., visiting the WEB page www.elitechip.net or www.mitjamenorca.com<\/p>\n

Art. 9.1.- Price<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

XV 10 km Illa de Menorca \u2013 The registration fee is 13 euros until 08-27-2026. Between August 28 and October 20, 2026, the registration price will be 18 euros, and from October 21 to October 26, 2026, the registration price will be 23 euros.<\/p>\n

XXVI Mitja Marat\u00f3 Illa de Menorca \u2013 The registration fee is 20 euros until 08-27-2026. Between August 28 and October 20, 2026, the registration fee will be \u20ac 25, and from October 21 to October 26, 2026, the registration fee will be \u20ac 30.<\/p>\n

\u2013 In these prices there is an increase of 1 euro to all non-federated athletes in the athletics federation.<\/p>\n

Art. 9.2.- After the deadline<\/strong> \u2013 All registrations received after October 26, 2026 will have a price of 35 euros.<\/p>\n

Art.9.3.- Reusable White Chip<\/strong> \u2013 All athletes who do not own a Yellow Chip must pay 2 euros to obtain a reusable white chip. The chip must be returned at the end of the test.<\/p>\n

Art.9.4.- Form of payment<\/strong> \u2013 The form of payment can be made at the same time that the registration is made, with a credit card. Registrations that are not accompanied by their corresponding payment receipt will not be accepted. In the event that a registration is made and for justifiable reasons you cannot participate, the organization will return 75% of the registration made, up to 1 week before the start of the competition.<\/p>\n

Art. 10.- Trophies Gifts<\/strong> \u2013 There will be a trophy for the first 3 classified in the absolute general category and for the first 3 classified in each category. THE PRIZES ARE NOT ACCUMULATIVE.<\/p>\n

Art. 10.1.<\/strong> When picking up the number you will be presented with some details by the organization. All athletes who complete the course will receive a commemorative gift. A digital diploma will be made accrediting your time and the place achieved in the general classification and by categories.<\/p>\n

Art. 11.- Security<\/strong> \u2013 The security of the event will be covered by the competent authorities of the place (Local Police, Civil Protection), and by the organization\u2019s security service. The test will have a career doctor and the service of the Red Cross.<\/p>\n

Art. 12.- Control<\/strong> \u2013 The control of the Test will be in charge of the committee of judges of the F.A.I.B, \u200b\u200bwho will be in charge of the control and classifications. The control of results will be carried out through the ChampionChip System.<\/p>\n

Art. 13.- Image rights.<\/strong> The organization will be able to use images, videos and sound of the participants during the test, including moments before and after, from the collection of numbers, delivery of prizes and transfer of the participants.<\/p>\n

Art. 14.- Acceptance of regulations<\/strong> \u2013 The simple fact of registering the test implies full acceptance of these regulations, as well as other provisions that the organization may determine for any reason. The organization of the event is not responsible for all situations or actions that may arise outside its competence or for which it is not directly responsible.<\/p>\n

Art.15.- Claims<\/strong> \u2013 Any claim must be addressed to the referee of the test in writing, within 30 minutes of the publication of the official results and accompanied by a payment of \u20ac 100 for acceptance.
